Senior Delivery Manager

This is a Hybrid role working from our London office 2 days a week but also involves travel to other offices when required.

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex digital projects, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and project success. You will build strong client relationships, lead and mentor project teams, and drive the implementation of best practices to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll be expected to:

• Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact, building and maintaining strong client relationships.

• Anticipate and address complex client needs through proactive communication and persuasive presentations.

• Lead complex digital projects, ensuring effective coordination among multiple stakeholders.

• Implement project management best practices to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

• Optimise resource allocation and budget management to maximise efficiency and profitability.

• Ensure accurate financial tracking, forecasting, and delivery against financial targets.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate complex project risks through comprehensive risk management plans.

• Promote a risk-aware culture by guiding team members on effective risk and issue handling.

• Lead and mentor high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts effectively.

• Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure high standards and adherence to best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Advise on digital technologies and strategies, driving innovation and the adoption of new methodologies for client success.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager in a digital consultancy or similar environment.

• Experience delivering solutions and managing development teams throughout the full product life cycle from discovery to deployment and operations. 

• Expertise in software engineering methodologies and tools such as Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), Waterfall and JIRA, with the ability to adapt project management approaches as needed while managing scope and cost.

• Strong emotional intelligence skills that allow for effective team motivation, collaboration and conflict resolution.  

• Proven ability to manage complex digital projects with multiple stakeholders with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders ensuring clarity and fostering a sense of partnership. 

• Strong financial management, budgeting and resourcing skills.
