We work with ambitious clients to help them solve their biggest business and customer challenges. We help our clients to innovate and create intelligent digital products and services. We champion modern, balanced working and offer a hybrid setup, asking you to collaborate in person 2 days a week from our Sofia office.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer at Waracle, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and care behind the digital products we build. If you enjoy collaborating across teams, building out automated testing frameworks, and helping welcome and support new team members, you will thrive in this role.

  • User-Centric Test Design: Design and run tests independently, using product personas to guide user journeys and thoughtfully assessing the risk of code and configuration changes.

  • Automation Engineering: Build and maintain regression automation packs, integrating them into CI pipelines to ensure our teams receive swift, helpful feedback.

  • System Observability: Dive into logs and dashboards to investigate issues and proactively validate system health throughout the testing lifecycle.

  • Non-Functional Testing (NFR): Execute scripted and manual tests across crucial areas including Security, Performance, and Accessibility using industry-standard tools.

  • Inclusive Communication: Provide clear, concise status updates in stand-ups and bridge the gap by explaining complex QA issues in warm, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Process Care & Improvement: Suggest and implement local process enhancements, evaluating new tools or techniques that can help the team work smarter and more efficiently.

  • Team Collaboration: Manage your own tasks independently while warmly supporting the onboarding of new team members into the squad’s QA workflows.
