This is a Hybrid role working from any of our Scottish offices (Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee) 2 days a week. This role can be an Inside IR35 contract or Permanent role.

Key aspects of the role include
Designing and delivering innovative analytics solutions, leading insight projects as an individual contributor or within a wider team.
Architecting data pipelines that seamlessly integrate multiple sources and optimise the performance of existing systems and queries.
Collaborating with stakeholders to define essential KPIs and business metrics.
Leading the design of fault-tolerant, cost-efficient ETL solutions with embedded data quality checks, championing the adoption of advanced tooling.
Mentoring associates and mid-level analysts on data and AI best practices and providing structural support in team discussions.
Representing Waracle at external events like meetups and conferences, and running internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
Job requirements
What you'll bring
Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a track record of leading analytics projects independently.
Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel, coupled with experience in statistical analysis and data modelling.
Comprehensive hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, or Looker).
Practical experience with cloud analytics services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and various data warehouse technologies.
Familiarity with data preparation and ETL tools such as Power Query, Tableau Prep, pandas, or dbt.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex analysis into actionable business insights.
Proven mentoring experience and the ability to manage analytics projects to drive consistent delivery
