We thrive on complex challenges and deliver business-critical IT transformation projects, moving seamlessly from strategy, design and delivery to operations.

This is a hybrid role working from our Glasgow office 2 days a week.

As a Talent Partner at Waracle you’ll play a key role in attracting, engaging and securing top talent. You'll be a strategic partner to our hiring managers, shaping our employer brand and creating exceptional candidate experiences that go beyond the standard job posting. We're looking for someone who is passionate about contributing to a dynamic recruitment strategy and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Proactively interact with candidates across various platforms, including job boards, social media, and through Boolean searches.

  • Guide candidates through every stage of the recruitment journey, from initial phone screenings and scheduling interviews to managing offers and facilitating smooth onboarding.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders and hiring managers, offering timely updates, guidance, and expert advice throughout the hiring process.

  • Understand candidates' drivers and motivations to effectively aid in salary negotiations and secure the best fit for both parties.

  • Actively contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance the Talent and People department, as well as the wider business to foster a culture of innovation.

  • Understand salary vs. margin decisions and their cost-related impacts, using this insight to inform actions.

  • Consistently serve as a brand ambassador, championing the importance of employer branding in attracting talent.

  • Utilise data to evaluate recruitment performance and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Job requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience recruiting Technology, Product and/or Data roles, either from in house or agency.

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal teams.

  • Experienced in both permanent and contract recruitment.

  • Knowledge of the UK tech market and can advise hiring managers and manage expectations.

  • Ability to engage and source both active and passive candidates using various sourcing techniques and platforms.

  • A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
